For Will and Abby, their search for the perfect wedding venue was a pretty short one. Longview Vineyard in Macclesfield was the place where they first said 'I love you' and so, combined with efforts of their award-winning event manager, Jess, they felt quite at home on their wedding day.

Even in the early planning stages, they were determined for all of their 85 guests, which included lots of kids, to feel as cared for and comfortable as possible. Abby and Will went to great lengths to mention or include family and friends in their unplugged ceremony with 3 readings, a tribute to those who had passed away and their own personalised (and sometimes teary) vows.

As I was leaving, Abby's Mum gave me one of their delightful wedding favours, a palm-sized, fondant iced and personalised shortbread cookie by Keva at Sucre Patisserie. Apart from being delicious, it was also one of the most quaint 'just like home-baked' treats I've ever received. Keva is now on my favourites contact list.

All of this would have been just like a wonderful, colourful dream should the lovely Rachael Farmer of Rachael Elizabeth Photography (Rachael's Insta and Facebook) have not captured it all with such a spectacular and fun narrative. The story of Will and Abby's day is brought to life in this series of her photos. I tried to cull it down as much as I could (!), but really feel like each picture is an essential insight to their celebration.
